Your Entrepreneurship Story

Your Entrepreneurship

A time in life when I was exposed to entrepreneurship was at my dad farm of Lettuce in Guatemala. It incredible how my dad created one of the most significant businesses of agriculture in Guatemala by selling Lettuces to more one country and to the most known brand in the world: Mcdonlands, Taco Bell, Wallmart and more. This experience I have known and seen since I was little.
I enrolled in ENT 3003 to understand more about how to solve problems and making solutions by creating a business opportunity. I want to get out of this class experience on the common problem in business and how to also create my own.

  1. I love to see that you have taken something from a different country and applied to the class. It inspires to me to see latinos across the world striving for better and helping the better of the world by providing high quality products. I am from Peru and coming from immigrant parents it is great to know that that mindset still exists and is in practice.

  2. Hey Ricardo,

That’s an incredible story that your father’s farm is a supplier to such huge companies with clients like McDonald’s and Taco Bell! I have a similar experience with a family member having started a successful business and I suppose you find it as motivating as I do! I enrolled in this class for similar reasons. I’m interested in uncovering the reality of the entrepreneurship lifestyle and what one can expect in reality when undertaking such a project as starting a business.

    Cheers,
