Idea Napkin No. 1

Idea Napkin No. 1

I consider my self as a business strategy and a business developer.  My skill and experience have been working along with my dad in resolving the problem in his company of agricultural food and exportation. I aspire to have a stable job that has stability and predictability of what might come in the future. If I was starting my business in my life will be the service of avocado exportation to countries that cant grows their own. An example could be the Netherlands or China. What I am offering is a service of exportation of avocados to their country. We will make all the paperwork and the exportation to your country. The avocados that we are also sending are total organic with the license plate with comprehensive care. The avocados come from Guatemala. The product will go to the people that need them the most and will pay more money than the country will sell, because of the abundance that it has. The perfect example of a customer is the Netherlands because in the Netherlands they can't grow their avocado. My company is already exporting to them and making a profit. Customers will use our service as a way to make more money; these customers are more likely to be local supermarkets or restaurants. Another reason to buy from us will be accessible that is now the avocado in the world. The thing that makes us different from our competition is the quality of product; the company waited four years for this license plate to prove that we serve the best variety and most important as telling us to sell it by saying its organic. Not much of the products that people send from other countries sell without the right quality and proper care to post it.

  1. Hello Ricardo

I enjoyed reading your blog post. You and I have something in common. I myself also got a start in the business by learning from my parents. I think your exportation of avocados is a great idea and a great choice of market. Avocado have become very expensive and I assuming that the exportation could also be a major cost.

  2. Hey ricardo,
It is awesome that you yourself have the mindset of a problem solver, it is a hard skillset to have knowing that you are someone to help and develop issues that arise in your life. I love how you used this to make an idea that rose from an issue you saw first hand. It is a great way to make this food available world and that it is cheap and affordable.

  3. Hello Ricardo,

Great post! I enjoyed your post and I think you have a good point. I'm from Japan so I will talk a little bit of Japan. In Japan, fitness industry is getting very big recently and a lot of people started eating avocado than ever because it is good and healthy food. So if you could export avocado to Japan, you will make a lot of profits because there is high demand.

    Once again, great post!

  4. I really enjoyed reading about your idea and think you have a very good mind for business. i would have never thought about the demand for avocado in places that couldn't grow them and or produce them. What a great idea it def has the potential to be a profitable business, it'd be great if you cut out the middle man and somehow gain even more control of the industry.

  5. Hey Ricardo. I really enjoyed reading about this. It's not everyday I hear someone talking about exporting avocados as an entrepreneurial venture but I can see how there is opportunity in it now. As long as there is a demand, which I can assume there is, I see that you have a sustainable business model. However, have you considered what would happen in the event that a famine struck all the avocados? How would you shift your supply chain and how would this impact?
