Celebrating Failure
Celebrating Failure
I just started last semester at the University of Florida; I made a lot of mistakes; one of them was not going to class. I had this class of macroeconomics in food and research which had no class attempted; this class was from Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The thing about this class is that if you didn't go, not only you will miss the course of the lecture. But also the teacher will give in random days. Mostly Fridays, people will give an extra point in the final exam for coming. I miss almost all the Fridays class so I could get a better score in the final exam. I learn that I should not miss class; even do the course is not a requirement to go. Failer is hard sometimes, but it's better when you stand up and keep going.

Hey Ricardo,
ReplyDeleteI too made the mistake of missing class too often, it really blew many opportunities for me to build my GPA and make relations with my teachers more closely. I think that we build relationships and success to our failures. Things happen and we learn from the best . Overtime we understand that failures are part of our process in life. We learn from these mistakes!
Best,

Hey Ricardo,
ReplyDeleteWe have all come to make this same mistake at some point in our life. I remember I would miss class maybe once every two weeks. The classes I missed for that particular day were always quite important and though I was able to maintain a degree of excellency in the courses I was taking I failed to perform as highly as I wanted in most cases. The overall affect of our failures help teach us to be better in the long run.
Hey Ricardo,
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your post, I can see that you possible might have learned a round lesson from this class. What I like about stated "failure" is that this a failure that many people can really relate to. Especially students who are either starting a University for the first time or feeling lazy in the last semester of college. You were put a motivation statement at the end of your discussion, and I must say that it worked!
Definitely think you learned a valuable lesson, one that we all need or have learned at this level of education. It is important to learn from these mistakes that we make as to not repeat them. Often times we make excuses for our failures good to see that you are not one those and have decided to learn and continue the success process
